Hi, I’m Brittany! I am a Marine Corps wife, and mom of 2 daughters, a son, and two furry babies. In 2009 I graduated from Old Dominion University with a degree in Communications (like what was my plan with that one?) I ended up getting my post-baccalaureate in Paralegal Studies. I have been in the workforce since I was 16 years old so when I got pregnant at 28 I assumed I would have the baby and be right back to work as a Paralegal. Boy was I wrong. After our daughter was born God put me on a path of staying home to raise my daughter for 3.5 years! It was a full-time job I thought I would never hold, but honestly, one that was very rewarding. After becoming pregnant with our son and moving back to Havelock from Richmond I was getting the itch to get back to work. But what crazy, high-producing agent would hire a girl who was 8 months pregnant with a decent resume (humbly speaking) but almost NO real estate experience? I suddenly had the thought to reach out to the agent who helped me buy my house, and a few months later she hired me as her virtual Transaction Coordinator. Ya’ll she was closing 60+ houses a year, I was 8 months pregnant, and she trained me fully virtual. Two years later (in 2021) Poe’s Point Closings was born. In 2023 I went to the Superior School of Real Estate to become a licensed Broker in the state of North Carolina. Now my dreams (which I never knew I had) are my reality. I get to stay at home and raise my three beautiful children and support my husband’s Marine Corps career while still running my own business. It’s not always easy but it’s so fulfilling and MORE than I ever dreamed of doing. I have done NONE of this in my own strength. It is all by the grace of God that I get to walk out the life I live, and I try every day to be worthy of that calling.

First and foremost. I wanted a way to make some income while staying home and supporting my children and my husband’s military career. I have also always loved to work. It was always my dream to own my own business and to do something where I could really help people. I am highly organized (almost OCD) and enjoy checking things off my to-do list. But more than that I LOVE assisting others and helping their business grow while they use our services. So this job is quite literally a dream come true.

I have my B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Mary Washington and my Master's in Elementary Education. I taught elementary school for five years before deciding to work from home and join the PPC team! So thankful Brittany took a chance on me to train me in transaction coordinating.

I enjoy being able to help busy agents make their clients' real estate goals come true, all while being able to make my family a priority through the flexibility PPC offers me. I love that I can be at home with my babies while working and helping to provide for my family! I don’t have to choose either work or family, and I LOVE that.
